My goals include:
1) making significant progress on the book I am co-writing with my husband on Biblical principles for marriage;
2) Getting more articles and short pieces published, i.e. more acceptances than rejections;
3) learning more about the Christian writing market through networking and attending writers workshops.
My goal is to simply write more! In the past I have been more productive when I have long stretches of time to concentrate. Real life often gets in the way of this, however, so my goal is to make myself write when I can, even if it's just for 15 or 30 minutes at a time.
1. Finish 3 articles I'd begun long ago, then think up more!
2. Send query letters for above
3. Take pictures to accompany the articles -- vary composition, subjects,techniques
4. Find more publication sources (magazine)
5. Write something fictional
6. Set aside regular time to write, now that I have time
My 2009 writing goals are:
1. To write to a publishable point with each manuscript.
2. To mail out manuscripts every month.
3. To do points 1 and 2 again and again and again. Whatever it takes to be published in a more substantial way.
