How to Ning

1.           The main page.  When you go to http://brazoswriters.ning.com, you will see the main page which is set up with three columns.  Spend some time on this page trying things out.

• The column on the left is where you will find basic information about Brazos Writers such as membership information, board members, and contact information.  Below that are listings of the most recent activities in the group. 
• The center column gives the Brazos Writers mission.  Below that is an area called “Events” where members can post events that may be of interest to other members.  If you know of a good upcoming workshop, or if you are signing books or making an appearance somewhere, this is where you will post them.  Below the events is the forum where you can participate in discussions with other members.
• The third column on the right is where you sign in.  This column also lists the ads that make this site free.

2.           Navigation panel.  Located in the upper right corner, the navigation panel has the links to your personal page, to the forum page, the members page and other places.

3.            My Page is your personal webpage/blog.  To change how it looks, click on “Themes” and bring up choices of layouts, fonts and colors. You can add pictures.  You can also add feeds from other blogs whether yours or somebody else's.
